The Paintings!
|
We have been assigned to pick a project. I wanted to paint something, and I wanted it to have meaning to it. This past summer I went to the beach, I want to go back soooo bad. So every time I look at this I will be able to go back looking at this picture.

My Newest project!
The next project that we have started on is something called albrajaes (I probably spelled that wrong) but anyways pictures below of what i'm making. It's a mixture of a cow, chicken, pig, and a dragon.
These were sketch books that we made. This is the front of my book. Under the fabric are 2 piece's of harder material, and another small strip of material that has wholes punched in it, so that we could sew the pages in the book. I struggled with this a little.
These are the pages in the book that were sewed in with needle and thread. I also struggled with this part because I struggled on where to punch the holes in at. The pages were a little uneven, they were sticking out of the book. You can't tell in this picture, because I tried to cover it up as much as possible.
Value Practice Shapes
To get ready for the next project that we will be doing, we drew shapes, and practiced shading the shapes in with the correct value.
Close Up Drawings.
The project we are doing currently is a close up drawing, where we pick a picture that is close up of something and then we darw it. Above is a picture a of a few shapes that we were to draw how we saw them. The whole point of that was to help us with shading and shadowing; which was to help us with the project we were asinged.
This week we are still working on our close up drawings. Below is a picture of the progress that I have made in this past week.
Below is some progress that I have made with my drawing.
My Foot is DONE!!!!
The only thing that needs to be done on my foot is touch ups. A few shading errors, and touch ups and it will be ready!
Presenting............
My close up drawing is finally finished. I am very pleased on how it has turned out! There is a picture below of the final photo. The best thing that I think about it, is how the shading turned out, I also like the figure.
